Professional Community Club
A free initiative by Maple Journey
The Professional Community Club is a community-based initiative designed to support students, newcomers, and professionals in New Brunswick as they build and grow their careers in Canada. This program is 100% free and provides a structured, supportive environment where members can develop practical skills, gain workplace insights, and build meaningful professional connections.
The schedules are planned on Sunday mornings from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM in Moncton, New Brunswick, including
- Biweekly sessions (October – April)
- Monthly sessions (May – September)
Our goal
Through this initiative, Maple Journey aims to contribute to the long-term success of professionals in New Brunswick by:
• Supporting career clarity and confidence
• Addressing common skill gaps in the Canadian workplace
• Encouraging knowledge-sharing within the community
• Strengthening connections across industries and experience levels

Our July session guided participants to explore when and how to negotiate, what aspects of an offer are negotiable beyond salary, and how to approach conversations professionally while building positive relationships with employers. Through real-life scenarios and shared experiences, members gained practical insights, broadened their perspectives, and left feeling more confident in making informed career decisions.
